So this year: I am thankful for friends, family, and the blessedly blurred line between the two. I am thankful for our country. For new beginnings. For a sense of hope. (and not just the Obama-kind).
I am thankful for the people I make theatre with. I am truly blessed to have such generous and dedicated partners in the cause.
What about you? Care to share YOUR Thanksgivings with us?

I am thankful for many things. Most specifically, though, I am thankful for:
1. My landlady, who--even though we can't really talk--always gives me food and makes me feel welcome here.
2. My fabulous friends here in Japan with whom I was able to share a lovely (very potato-abundant) potluck Thanksgiving dinner.
3. Katie Pfohl, who listens. She provides a sympathetic but neutral outlet for all my rantings and jubilations about Japan and keeps me anchored to my "Centre Roots."
4. Skype, which lets me talk to KP and my family.
5. My family, of course, who understands me.
6. That I figured out how my heater works. :)
